Cannot upgrade a plant and im stuck

I am stuck right at the beginning of the game where the game actually point out what you have to do, it too me to plant library to upgrade the peashooter and i need more energies to upgrade, at the bottom points at the button “ find more “ but won’t let me click.
i have been playing for years and now i had to start all over as for some reason my account wasn’t saved. And now i am stuck at the beginning for no reason. Anyone can advise what to do next??
