Crashing

Has anyone experienced game crashes on their iPad? I can only access the main screen before it crashes. Reloading doesn't help. I've updated everything. Is it because I'm using an older iPad (8th generation)?

So many users have posted about this problem on this forum and EA never does anything about it. I’ve done all of their troubleshooting steps, nothing actually fixes the issue and there is no way to contact an actual support person or submit a service ticket that you can follow. Honestly unbelievable.

I don't like playing on my phone because the screen is too small. I prefer playing on my iPad, but even then I can't play properly; the game crashes as soon as I open it.

I wouldn’t mark this as resolved until EA actually fixes the problem for iPads. People spend actual money to get rid of ads, unlock plants, all sorts of things, and they don’t care that the app crashes all the time. I’ve had to request refunds for the things I’ve paid for in the app because it’s not functional on my device desperate EA/Popcap saying that it totally works on my device.
