Force Sync Player Data fails

See the screenshot. I already verified my internet connection is fine.

    Unfortunately no. EA marked my case as "Resolved" and closed it, but it was not resolved at all. I filed another case, but don't have much hope in it.

    To be exact, my profile lost most gauntlets, gems and coins, but got 100K more mints (which is useless to me as all power mints are already maxed out), and 5K fuels in Penny's Pursuit (God knows when I'll be able to use all of them). On the other hand, all the plants and their levels are not affected.

    This is because by design, plant level can only go up and not down.   All the in game currentcies are different, they can be increased or decreased.  The risk of playing the game without data sync to the server is that when it sync, there is a chance a wrong set of data is used on refresh (server data vs local data), this is especially true for players using more than one device to play the game.

    Currently I am using one device to login and play Arena for now to reduce the risks of data corruption and would suggest others doing the same.

    The feature works again today but I now found out I become one of the victim of data corruption.

    All 6 of my active profiles are affected, some worse than other. 

    2 profiles have the Season Reward progress glitched over 10000 so I missed out the chance to earn seeds for the new plant.

    3 profiles with the amount of gems reset to 0!

    I will check and compare with my backup and compile a list of how bad the damages are and will post the details here to share.  😢

    2 profiles have the Season Reward progress glitched over 10000 so I missed out the chance to earn seeds for the new plant.


    Didn't mention earlier, but my profiles were also impacted by this. Fortunately, this happened near the end of last season when the progress already maxed out, so no real damage.

    Well, the new Plant-of-the-Week came and went.  For about an hour (maybe 1-1/4 hours) past 19:00 hrs CDT the sync worked - not every time - could take 2-5 tries but did sync. I was working in the game and only synced 3 of my 7 characters.  Then it stopped working again. Back to the SYNC FAILED screen.  I too had scrambled stats for those 3 characters.  Worse cases were Mint counts went to zero for 2 players when they were 809 and 753.  And on another player the gauntlet count went to 409 from 689. Sadly I didn't have all my mints maxed out (rainhaven=showoff!) so I'll have to start building up again.  I was thinking back a couple-3 years and recalled the last time sync stopped working.  I had lodged a case where I was getting a "RED BOX" (of you can't claim this until sometime in the next 24 hours have pasted) on seeds/coins/gems/etc  in the monthly "Gift of the Day" so often that by the end of the month I would only have collected gifts up to day 8 or maybe 12.  Whatever they did also caused this complete separation of players across all my devices.  It did stop the Red Boxes but make playing a horror.  I complained and apparently others too because after a week or two they undid whatever it was and set it back to normal.  I was then still getting the Red Boxes but eventually figured out the scheme / sequence they want to be able to progress through the month with only an occasional Red Box.  If anyone else would care to complain to the EA gods and try to get this fixed over the whole of PvZ2 I would be extremely happy.  As it is I may have to hang it up for a while 'cause THIS AIN'T FUN NO MORE.

    The same problem with Force Sync Player Data fails is happening again since last night, I hope this time it is not out to wipe out my in game currencies again.

    Except for about an hour a week after it started (just after the Plant-of-the-Week update) it's been constant for me.  I got 2 of my characters (I thought it was 3 but no) to update in that time but nothing since.  I keep trying but 

    disappointment so far.  Is this being reported by anyone else in PvZ or any other game to your knowledge?
