I cant opgrade my plants in the game anymore

What happens exactly when you try to upgrade your plants? 

Do you get an error message when you try, or are you missing the required upgrade materials?

The game switch direkt to the “Coin  bying “ Window  when i try to opgrade ex in the store adventure part or after playing penny`s persuit no matter what i cant opgrade plants
