IOS 16 Is PVZ2 no longer compatible?

I’ve played PvZ and the PvZ2 for years but have never had so many issues. Since Tombastic Adventures, every special event crashes and is unplayable. Now the game crashes after every level, every reward claimed, basically everything you try to do. I’ve tried EA support several times but when you can get hold of an advisor they are mostly useless and either cut you off when passing you to ‘another department’ or are no help at all. It’s disgraceful when you’ve spent a lot of money in a game. Can someone or @EACath tell me is iOS 16 no longer compatible with the game? There has to be something to fix the constant crashing. Thanks
