Lost all progress

Lost all my progress including in-game purchases, coins and gems. I still have all my achievements but other than that, I’ve been reset to level 1 with none of my plants I’ve bought and none of the items I earned. I didn’t delete my game, and it was backed up on iCloud but somehow I can’t recover it. I don’t know why I’ve been reset and this is absolutely ridiculous. What do I do?

  • Get your player ID, and go to support. It's possible they might be able to restore your progress. Many players have been losing their progress after the latest updates for some reason, and the only way they can be restored is by them if you can provide your account ID. This can be found if you go to the Splash Screen -> Settings -> Build Version. Keep it saved somewhere, like in a screenshot.

    Hi,  I have my id and I have created 5 cases on EA and they don’t respond to me!  I’ve been getting kind like an automated reply asking me to read an article on how to link my account.  They didn’t even ask me for my player ID.  What can I do?  I’ve been playing this game for 15 years and I lost everything.  I’m at level 1 now.  It’s really frustrating.  I spent a lot of money on the specialty plants and it’s all gone

    Hi, I have the same problem but for Xbox - lost all progress in games I played on console.

    How can I contact the support team?

    Same. I had all of my progress lost. My progress goes back to I would say over a decade and it is all gone. I logged into a EA account on my old phone and my new phone an attempt to transfer the progress to the new phone and I clicked “Force Sync Player Data” on the old phone but it deleted all my data and replaced it with the PvZ2 data from the new phone (which is fresh and has nothing on it). How can I recover my progress?
