Monthly fee to remove ads?!!

I bought almost all plants and other stuff, and I watch ads for coins, etc. Now this is ridiculous. Not to mention how many gems and coins I've lost due to bugs.

I’ve been on an email and direct chat with advisors about this issue. I’ve paid for many many many plants and enjoyed an ad free experience as a result. It’s ludicrous to have to pay again?

it’s taken days of emails and many different advisors in chat to arrive at being asked to create a chat in here the forums.

I don’t understand how this is going to fix the issue?

please developers, give your loyal customers who already paid, what they paid for, an ad free experience 

I also have been playing this game since it was released and have spent a lot of money on this game. I think this is a slap in the face of loyal gamers. As well as having to pay to remove as it has broken the reward system. I used to always depend on watching an ad to get more gems or fuel in Penny's arcade. Now that doesn't work for me. The ad starts then exits and the earn button disappears. And another biggie for me is that I am one of the unfortunate ones that can no longer make purchases thru the play store. I have had this issue for a couple of years now and contacted support several times only to be bounced back and forth with EA saying it's a Google issue and Google support saying it's an EA issue. So I couldn't pay to remove ads if I wanted to. I'm sorry but after playing this for so many years and spending as much as I have on it already this comes across to me as greedy and very inconsiderate.
