No Epic Quest for the new Season plant - Tomb Tangler

Question

Normally an Epic Quest is available for the new Season Plant which rewards 50 seeds upon completion. This is to make up the total seeds a player can unlock the plant at the currently 500 crowns mark and bring the new plant to level 5 by winning 1000 crowns on the season.

This will not be possible for most players who has no Thymed Event because if you have completed 500 crowns, you only receive a total of 200 (5+10+15+20+50+100) seeds so there are 50 seeds short to unlock the plant! so your choice is either spend gems to get the missing 50 seeds or carry on playing to win 750 crowns to unlock the new plant. A very user unfriendly change.

It seems in this new update, this new Epic Quest for the new season plant is now missing, not sure this was part of the 'economy adjustment' or another new type of missing event bug similar the Thymed Event, I have created a new case with EA and see what has happened.

My suspicion that EA/PopCap are trying to kill the PVZ2 game off still stands, this recent 9.9.x update seems to bring very little to benefit us players and I ran a quick survey over on subreddit to see what the percentage of players actually like this 9.9.x update and have the following results.

I am just wondering how long it takes for EA/PopCap to be able to declare their shutting down PVZ2 mission complete.

A brief update on my case with EA help.After a few emails, this bug has been confirmed and it is aware by PopCap but sadly currently there is no fix available.I am also been told that the reward at 500 crowns is 150 seeds for the new Season plant and NOT 100 seeds as I originally stated, so even without the extra 50 seeds from the Event, the new plant should be unlocked at the 500 crowns mark, not the 750 as I stated.&nbsp; Few, this is a small relief for me as I have quite a few level 1 profiles...&nbsp;EDIT.&nbsp; small prints:I was also given 50 gems for my trouble, I guess maybe this was just to shut me up or telling me to go away and not making further troubles. &nbsp;👿 &nbsp; In all honesty, I could not even figure out which profile has received this 50gems credit and it certainly will not be enough to buy 50 seeds for Tomb Tangler. &nbsp;😞 &nbsp;

@eieio_31310 I had the same experience when I complained about missing events. I requested the 50 Tomb Tangler seeds that I would’ve received and did not get them. I was “rewarded” 50 seeds but have no idea what plant received them. So I opened another case, same complaint, and received 50 gems. They are definitely trying to shut us up.

I have just taken a quick peak at the true cost table I made years ago for the +3 gems incremental purchase, 50 seeds actually costs 80 gems, so whichever profile that the 50 gems go, I am still out of pocket by 30 gems.&nbsp; 😡
