PvZ 2 crashes on tablet

After a couple of years without playing, I decided to install PvZ 2 again, but after the loading screen the game just crashes. My device is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2019. I don't know if someone else got the same problem, but if someone did, i'd be happy to see your opinion!

    I am having the same problem. Every second game freezes and returns to main menu. This will mean if you want to win this tournament, it's going to cost you two gauntlets per game. I have reported this 3 times, but no help so far.
