I have the same problem on one of my devices, just close it down and eventually you’ll get a different one that plays properly.

Been trying that for the past two days, just keep getting the rubbish ad that won’t let you complete.

the Garnier ad is still the only ad I’m getting.
You would think that EA games would be keen to sort this out as the adverts generate them income.
By my estimate I have not gained 57 gems, 12 gauntlets, at least 15,000 coins and 45 upgrades to plants.
That you cannot contact EA games is extremely annoying and shoddy customer service.It’s not just this game either there’s a similar complaint on the sim city forum.

@i6n1trpsdx5r What device are you playing the game on?
I ask because I have the same ads showing up on my iPhones and it seems to work when I click the x in a circle near the top left corner.
It’s an iPhone 7, when I click that x it closes the advert but no reward. There doesn’t seem to be anyway to get the advert to complete its cycle.
Thank you for the reply. I do not have a 7 so cannot verify but I can confirm it works on 7plus and 6s. The PVZ2 App version are 11.1.1 and 11.0.1 respectively.
Just for ruling out there might have been an ads seting issue, could you check on your iOS Settings and ensure the Personalised Ads are disabled (set to off) in Apple Advertising section please.
Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Personalised Ads
Yes it’s set to off.
And yes I’m still getting the damned advert- @eieio_31310 I have an iPhone 11, I wondered yesterday why there were so many opps for free gaunlets, it was getting this idiotic Garnier ad & closing it down, after about 6 gos I got a working ad. Hopefully it will eventually go again today.
High expectations for EA when they can’t even provide a website that’s not buggy… signing in to click Me Too, after bloody 2 step verification it tells me I haven’t permission to view 🤬 page!
Sorry, went off-piste a bit there. Unfortunately this has been going on for 4 days now, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve tried and nothing but the damned Garnier advert
@i6n1trpsdx5r a last resort, could you try toggle the PVZ2 Third-Party Target ads on/off and see if this makes any difference? This feature could be accessed from clicking the spanner button. Hopefully this clears the stuck ads for you or just keep trying until the ads expires.
Thank you that’s worked still getting the Garnier ad but at least it has a countdown timer and gives rewards.
It’s odd that it’s just that ad and that’s in over 7 years of playingYour solution has just worked for me ,I got 3 different ads this morning that wouldn’t play.
