Cactus is not a plant i bought or intend to buy but I'm having a good start to the week, 305 crowns (200 higher than no.2) which is 60 wins and just 5 losses.

I'm currently scoring 4-4.5 million but i hit on a good plant combo from the start.

Even the non-existant 10 match strEAkbrEAker hasn't struck (yet).

And i came top of my jade league (again) last week.

Congratulations MagicDave.  I won my first Gold League last week and used the 100 mints to add ReInforcemint to my new profile.

I have found a decwent combo but it does seem that EA has created a nasty challenge this week.  Too many graves popping up and shuffling the defensive plants !!

Laser Bean is the best offensive weapon again this week - I have been scoring about 2M when I do take on a challenge.

Ghost Pepper challenge has been challenging.  MagicDave's combo suggestion of Primal Peashooter, Blover, and Stalia (must be at Level 5 or higher to be useful !) is working pretty good to achieve 1M+ scores.

Tried with Primal Peashooter and Blover, but never reach 2mil pts.

Changed to shadow family, maximum got 3.5mil at level 6-8.

@Coldwind73  Wow, that is a very good score, I am still aiming for my 2M with the classic Primal Peashooter and Blover combo, might give your setup a go tonight.

Very good! 2M is my max and seems like I can't get over it.

SlingPea challenge has been a low scoring affair.  The first day I did score over 500k but since then I have only been over 400k once !!

Mostly scores in the mid 300's

BucketHead is extremely hard to vanquish and the turkeys are well, turkeys !  Easily vanquished by Lightning Reed or Laser Beam.

SlingPea seems to be inconsequential since there are so few Zombies in this abbreviated challenge.

Enchant-Mint is also not very useful but it is FUN to use Hypno-shroom and create a Giga that is hard pressed to kill all the Turkeys.

Include Magnet-Shroom in your lineup (One placed in the centre of the front column should be enough) to remove their buckets. They then become much easier to kill.

There are only a few BucketHeads but perhaps killing them quicker would up my score a bit....

Dave, how can you not be having any FUN ? 

Error messages, screen freezes, coins, GEMs, mints, Gauntlets disaappearing/not being given

What's not to enjoy ?

407,700 using a row of magnets (probably overkill but I did lose one), Peppermint once, Enchantmint once, Jalepeno twice, and Laser Beam (back row but added two during the battle)

You only need one Magnetshroom.

Thanks MagicDave.  I did just use 2 Magnets instead of three or more and still have only broken 400K the one time.  My streak is now over 130 and I did lose to a level 10 EA-bot in the 120s when I was not paying close attention and used my Leaves too early !!  The bot beat me my less than 10k

I finally got my submit button issue resolved so now I can attach screenshots, yey!

This was my second loss in battlez while the first one got 536k. Never lost again after that. Forgot to take a screenshot on that first loss... Current streak is in the 150's. But plant selection on that first loss was similar...

So can someone enlighten me on how this is achieved? I tried those combination of plants (though my hypnos are just level 7) but the highest I got was just mid-450k. With my new strat, my highest is exactly 490k...

Any takers?

Has to be an EA Bot - Explode O'Nut would be useless in any scenario due to the other chosen plants and especially if Hypno-Shrooms are placed in the most right part of the lawn (to turn back Turkeys)

Those are my exact thoughts while I was trying out those plant combinations. I'm naively hoping it's not a bot but the case against it is building up. Maybe if I have a L10 fila-mint I could breach the 500k... If only...

I think the level designers are fed up of our slagging off filamint and created this weeks challenge to showcase it.

All this electricity has my hair standing on end with too many splits !!

I started playing 3 days ago so obviously I'm soil league. I typically get 200k to 250k opposed to my opponents who get less than 100k most of the time.

I use 2 rows of laser beam, which survives till the end + place a wall-nut whenever stuff gets hairy. I start out with 1 row of laser beams and use the excess sun on twin sunflowers, then sell to replace with laser beams. Plant food at the end in lanes with multiple zombies.

Oh and I'm 1st with 76 points, lost once, the first time. 2nd place is 24 points.

You can sell plants and claim the sun in the set up phase but once it starts and you dig up a plant then you don't get any sun back.
