From the county of York

In America we frown on using them ARABIC numerals and that AL-JABRA!

EDIT: If you believe that zero isn't a real number i shall ask your employer to remove all zeros from your paychecks.

The sequence was originally used as a practical estimate of the growth of a rabbit population. Fibonacci is also recognized as the earliest proponent of the Arabic numbering system in the west. No pigs, no ducks, just bunnies.
