I got a new Travel Log challenge today to "Try a Premium Plant for Free!". Every time I try to open it the game crashes.I've tried force closing it from the app manager, restarting my tablet, and clearing the cache.I'm on a Nexus 7 2012.

Have same issue just like you. Been a while with this damn bug. I really don't want to reinstall anything, neither delete the cache, especially seeing how that mess up the game for other people. I hope the update with bug fixes (and preferable with new plants) will come up soon.

I wound up doing a re-install. But now my game is messed up. I can't change the costumes on the plants.

I still have this damn crashes... I hope that along with bugfixes there comes some interesting update with new plants, since the wait is so long.

Same deal here,since completing the epicquests that came with the Easter update. No solution found, this is the first mention I've seen of theproblem.

I had this issue. Had to clear all app data in my settings and re-log in.

Hey @MeatgrinderSA @wadebear

Could you try @jessibellol90 suggestion above? Just make sure you've logged in to make sure your progress is saved before you clear anything.

UPDATE: Was able to play the round.

Yesterday a new try before you buy popped up and it crashes again. I'm not resetting every time I play try before you buy. Hmmmm.

Same here, crashes whenever I try the "premium plant try before you buy" option. I hope there's a patch soon.

@jessibellol90 @Laridian - If you do the reset do you no longer get the crashes? How long is it before they come back (if at all) ?

@wadebear - is the original issue now fixed for you?

I too have had these problems. I just cleared my data and cache, and after playing this game for YEARS, after clearing my cache it let me choose a gamerid and recovered my progress for the first time! However, when I tried the try the premium plant for free challenge, it loaded the first flower petal, paused, then crashed.
