User not authorized when trying to purchase

It's probably been more than 8 years from when I was gone from playing PvZ2. First of all, I want to unlock some plants, but a message pops up saying I am not authorized. 

Exact message: "Error: User Not Authorized"
"You are not authorized to purchase on this device."

I've tried to see if any settings have been disabled my status to purchase on Google Play Store and see if the EA account is not linked to the same email registered on the play store. No issue there, and I tried to download PvZ2 on a different google account, same thing.
