Watching ads to get free coins/gems only works on one device

It's hard to explain, but I have 1 account on multiple devices. Yes, it's a little trick I discovered as sometimes, this device runs out of ads to view in order to earn free coins and gems. So I switch to the next device with the same account to continue viewing ads for coins/gems. (Yes, strangely enough, the credits (as long as you wait at least 2 minutes (depending on how many credits you earned) stack between your linked devices!) ) But as of now with the new version, ads are only viewable on my iPad Pro.

Also, it forces a new "register account" window every time I open the game up. This is becoming annoying as I already synced my account. So if you can fix these following bugs ASAP, that would be great.

In addition to possibly running out of ads to serve you, there might be ads available but you're not the target demography. It probably tracks what device you have and the apps installed.

I suspected this because I had a shopping app I uninstalled recently and voila! Ads for this app almost every time!

Check the type of ads you are getting and you can kinda tell how EA sees you. With the ads I'm getting, I think EA thinks I'm an old Indian lesbian woman with a cough problem. Nothing wrong with that and I'm fine with it. The coughing is true though... It's just amusing.

I had this problem even before the update. Contacted EA "tech support" and was told it was beyond their control.

I kinda see why. The ads are ordered by companies in bulk for EA to serve. It is then sent to our devices for us to view. If those orders run out, then there's nothing to send to our individual devices.

In my case, I tried to mitigate by reinstalling PVZ on all my devices but that didn't help. Also, a good internet connection would help but may not completely solve our issue.
