and what I meant by freeze by the wind in this level it doesn't seem to freeze winter melon sometimes and thats why he isn't frozen in these images but I am tell you the truth here he also is very useful here too so why is he still able to freeze when he is a frozen melon.
should he not freeze because the other ice plants were used as a wall to protect him form the snowball zombie if that were still to not freeze him ether that would be better.
- 6 years ago@supersmashchar the truth is...i never bring in any ice plants into frostbite caves. My understanding is they don't work as well...i always bring in fire plants. Maybe some others can help out in this question o.o
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@supersmashchar There's a reason they give you heat plants to use in Frostbite. Heat plants are immune to cold. You want to get Fire Pea and Wasabi Whip and Pyre Vine along with Pepper Pult and Pepper Mint to work that world.

@supersmashchar Winter-melon does get frozen by the freezing wind. It's just that the freezing wind is not on all lanes.
It is just very inconsistent whether a plant can get frozen or not. For instance, Snapdragon is a fire plant and can get frozen. All the other fire plants can't get frozen.

I've noticed that cold snapdragon's frosty breath defrosts plants. 😱
EDIT; Starfruit is a good plant to use with freezing winds, as long as just one is unfrozen then it will keep on shooting to defrost the others.

i have fire peashooter and i have the flame wall pepper but i don't have wasib wip but it would have been nice if it was a bug so then maybe it would have made sence because coldsnap dragon can survive with the cold breaze and so can missle toe ? can snow pea survive too let me know please?
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@supersmashchar My strat for all Frostbite always starts this way. Let's call C9 the column closest to home and the rows 1 - 5 from top to bottom.
PS - C8 R1
PS - C9 R2
FP - C8 R2
From then on I plant PS on all the back (C9 & C8 back WHiTE squares and FP on the BLACK squares starting with the middle 3 rows. R2 - R4. Now all of your Primal Sun stay nice and toasty warm and in this level in particular, you've covered the squares all zombies are forced to by the gates. Once you have this basic layout, you're unbeatable.

It's PvZ's logic:
Fire plants rarely doesn't freeze.
But Ice plants sometimes freeze.
