PvZ 3 Evolved - suggestions

🌿🧬🫐  New ingredients for Merge 🫐🧬🌿

I'd like to know how long it took for the team to discover that many things were leaked from PvZ3, it's quite obvious that by now it's no longer a surprise XD

Anyway, that was good! Because not only me, but many people in the community started talking about the topic in a more optimistic way. Including Plant Fusions and New Zombies, which has been a fan favorite.

However, until this Beta is available, I can't form a definitive opinion on all of this- just a review, but there are some things I can see that are a result of the feedback given in these last few months, which makes me happy!! so, let's get on with it~

Each plant has something specific that its fusions relate to, which seems cool to me! So, I based my suggestions on this system!

 📌🌿🫛🫘 Plant: Weenie Beanie 🫘🫛🌿📌

•🍁🌿 Tribe: Beans 🫘🫛🌿

• 🍁🌿 "Why these beans? Since there are so many options!" well, this type of plant seems great to me as something that zombies can consume or bite and have not-so-nice reactions (for zombies), so I think it's good to start with something simple other than Chili Bean.

• 🍁🌿 Rework: She could be like a "young version" of Chili Bean, which wouldn't be as strong and nerfed abilities.

Not all mergers have the same capacity, only some of them.

• 🍁🌿 Special traits: fusions of this plant can receive special abilities involving Infect zombies, stun or create new beans on the lawn.

• 🍁🌿 Could create recipes from existing plants such as:

🎁🍁 Chilli Bean 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Sun Bean 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Black-Eyed Pea 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Magic Beans 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 MoonBean 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Jumping Bean 🍁🎁

📌🌿🍓🍇🫐 Plant: Berry Brigade 🫐🍇🍓🌿📌

•🍁🌿 Tribe: Berries 🍓🍇🫐🌿

•🍁🌿 To represent the Berries, choosing a specific plant wasn't enough, since it was a group. So, I did some research until I found the Berry Brigade, a discarded plant from PvZ BFN which has berries grouped together. So why not combine this concept with "Berry Blast"? Which is just a trick, but could serve as a good concept.

• 🍁🌿 Rework: Her abilities weren't 100% ready in the files, so I think she could work as a kind of colony with other explosive Berries together that could be launched manually with different explosion aspects (like the Grapes of Wrath) or work together to attack with several small projectiles in dispersion.

Not all mergers have the same capacity, only some of them.

• 🍁🌿Special traits: fusions of this plant can receive special abilities involving fragments, can work together, release other berries and projectile dispersion.

• 🍁🌿 Could create recipes from existing plants such as:

🎁🍁 Burstberry 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Holly Berry 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Shelf Mushroom 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Electric Currant 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Hibernating Beary 🍁🎁

🎁🍁 Sour Grapes 🍁🎁

📌🌿🌲🌳🌱 Plant: Sap Fling 🌱🌳🌲🌿📌

•🌿 Tribe: Tree plants 🌱🪾🌳🍁

• 🍁🌿 The Sap Fling is considered one of the worst plants in PvZ2, but in its early days it would have been much more useful, as it would gradually grow into a giant pine tree that would crush zombies in a 1x3 area! Unfortunately, it was scrapped. If that were the case, it could return with some modifications to this ability.

Surprisingly, in the old PvZ 3 from 2020 this concept was brought back as "Tree plants" traits that worked like this: "This tree sits on multiple tiles, and is immune to being moved or stolen by zombies. Being extra-tall, it makes flying zombies stop to attack!" That was a fun and very interesting skill, I'd love to see it come back! Maybe with this guy again.

Dreadwood, Dogwood, Gravitree and Oak Acorn are plants that share this, but are better as individual plants.

• 🍁🌿 Rework: It could function almost similarly to the current version, but it could deal damage when hitting zombies and unlock new abilities as it grows.

Stage 2: As it grows, it produces small sap cones among its foliage, and these extra cones can be thrown onto other random tiles when attacking.

Stage 3: The pine cones get bigger over time, but after a while without attacking, he can shake himself and drop them near him. He will fall after he dies (Same as original concept).

Not all mergers have the same capacity, only some of them.

• 🍁🌿Special traits: fusions of this plant can receive special abilities involving growth stages, tree traits, increases the area of effect and unlock new abilities.

    📌🌿🌀🌪️🍃 Inspiration: Fannila 🍃🌪️🌀🌿📌

    • 🍁🌿Tribe: Leafy Flower Plant 🪷🌪️🌿

    • 🍁🌿 PvZ3C doesn't have the whole meteor thing, but it took a different approach to creating special fusions, where you can use an instant plant to create your elemental variants! This is also very interesting, since Blover is the first one you receive and represents the wind element that works synergistically with the others. She could almost have been an ideal ingredient for many recipes... which unfortunately won't be possible because she will remain a non-selectable power up in PvZ3I.

So I think using this plant with some obvious adjustments could be a great way to replace it, and even better! I wouldn't mind if the new design was something closer to a young Hurrikale with green leaves.

    • 🍁🌿 Rework: When manually activated, it releases a gust of wind capable of blowing away flying zombies and even pushing back normal zombies (only two tiles), but it needed to rest afterward!

    • 🍁🌿Special Traits: fusions of this plant create winds in the same way manually or in different ways and some of them can fly high in the air to attack flying zombies.

    • 🍁🌿 Possible mergers:

    🎁🍁 Hurrikale (reworked) 🍁🎁

    🎁🍁 Draftodil 🍁🎁

    🎁🍁 Skyshooter 🍁🎁

    🎁🍁 Garlic Drone 🍁🎁

    📌🌿🍁🪴 Inspiration: Pumpkin Witch 🪴🍁🌿📌

    • 🍁🌿Tribe: Squash Plant 🍁🎃🌿

•🍁🌿 Hypnosis has always been part of a plant beloved for its ability to turn zombies into allies and I think it can't be left out of this game! but this is a bit of a strange suggestion, isn't it? Since the Pumpkin Witch is a plant originally from PvZ2C that "partially" transforms a zombie into a sort of pumpkin-headed minion! A very interesting ability, but poorly executed. 🥀

"So why not use the Hypno-shroom?" Despite its fun properties, she has problems with her effectiveness, such as a wide variety of zombies not biting it and having the misfortune of being bitten by some weaker zombies when planted. besides being an inconsistent ingredient for mergers.

She is currently a magic-type plant, but I think that for PvZ3 she should undergo a redesign to be a plant type with more "parasitic pumpkin" aspects. something that might remind you of a Zomboid or the zombie Zombotanies!

    • 🍁🌿 Rework: It will act as a creature that will launch itself when zombies approach, parasitizing a target and transforming into a type of Zomboid with better stats (single use).

    • 🍁🌿Special Traits: variants of these zombies can contain increased resistance and fusions involving this plant can create Zomboids Zombotanies with special abilities.

     📌🌿🫜🧅 Inspiration: Sunshine Leak 🧅🫜🌿📌

    • 🍁🌿Tribe: Root Plant 🪴🧅🫜🌿

•🍁🌿 One of this plant's abilities that I admire most is that it was the first time I saw a plant that could be harvested. This isn't something that exists in any of the other games, but it was an old concept and it's really cool!

Since there are no other plants of the same type or ability, would it be acceptable for him to be an... onion? Yeah, I guess. which would not influence his fusions as much, giving him the opportunity to create more resources besides suns.

Maybe something that reminds me of Stunion concept art? She looks pretty cute to me.

    • 🍁🌿 Rework: It's a protective plant that becomes more resilient over time, and you can plant more copies on the same tile! When it grows enough, it creates more of this plant that can be harvested with the shovel.

Special: If you use the shovel when there are small sprouts, you will receive a packet of seeds that can be replanted elsewhere.

    • 🍁🌿Special Traits: Some fusions can also create new bulbs near the original plant or produce seed packets without needing to harvest them.

    📌🌿 🏺🪴 Plant: Whipvine 🪴🏺🌿📌

    • 🍁🌿Tribe: Vine Root Plant 🪴🌿

    • 🍁🌿 It's a perfect plant for some plants that are composed of vines, something that is not only aesthetic, but that, could have a greater focus on destroying objects more easily!

    • 🍁🌿 Rework: Slaps zombies using his vines, which can sometimes push them into other lines and cause more damage to objects.

Special: Can be planted on some objects such as tombstones.

    • 🍁🌿Special Traits: Fusions of this plant will have many of its capability extension aspects, where they can operate on adjacent lines and will have a preference for some specific targets to cause more damage.

    • 🍁🌿 Possible mergers:

    🎁🍁 Blockbuster 🍁🎁

    🎁🍁 Escape Root 🍁🎁

    🎁🍁 Fireweed 🍁🎁

    🎁🍁 Magic Beanstalk 🍁🎁

    🎁🍁 Soul Patch 🍁🎁
