Recent version updates have made players very angry.

  1. The last two updates and the preview for September 2nd have been hugely disappointing. Changes were made where none were needed—specifically to the plant almanac, the font style for community names, and the post-match results screen; these now have the cheap, low-quality look of a basic "mini-program." I really hope these changes are reverted.
  2. It is time to introduce new plants and gameplay mechanics. The prolonged lack of substantial new content has caused my community members and other players to completely give up and quit the game; this is not a good sign.
  3. The planting cooldown for Iceberg Lettuce is far too long—excessively so. A cooldown of 5–8 seconds would be ideal; making this adjustment would be a huge help to players.
  4. Regarding the "Pesticide Help" feature among community members: a player can only receive help three times, yet must provide help five times to max out their "Heart" rewards. This forces some players to leave their current community to find an inactive one where they can fulfill requests, only to try and rejoin their original group later. However, by the time they return, their old spot has often been taken by a new player, making it impossible to get back in. This is incredibly troublesome and causes massive frustration and confusion for players. Could the developers consider increasing the member cap to 25 or 50, or adjusting the quantity of pesticides that can be collected?

  • The lack of new plants and zombies was already told to us in the recent blogs - the devs are focusing their resources on a bigger update to improve gameplay.

I have never heard of players leaving communities just so that they can squeeze out more hearts from gifting. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, but it's not the normal intended player behaviour.

This happens every day in our community; because resources are so scarce, acts of kindness are the only way to obtain a large number of seeds on a daily basis.

  • If you're the community owner, you can set the community to be private and thus, you can stop new people taking away slots from the community members that you wish to keep.
