Plant Vs Zombies 3 Evolved is great and New mod idea ;)

Hello! (My English isn't quite good enough yet, so there might be some translation errors.) I thought the 2024 game *Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia* was quite good; the art style was very clean and fluid. Then came the new version, *Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved* (2025–2026), and it is excellent too. The new merging system is particularly great, and the plant designs are magnificent; plus, the game is in much better shape thanks to recent updates. However, there are some shortcomings. For instance, the sound effects are set to a very high volume. The levels are a bit plain; new mini-games or modes could be added. I could even suggest a game mode idea: in this mode, meteors affect the zombies, and the player cannot perform merges. Instead, similar to *Plants vs. Zombies 1*, there would be a conveyor belt on the right side displaying plants (levels 1, 2, 3, and merged versions) in a random order. The merging mechanic would belong to the zombies; the player would have to battle against these merged, more powerful zombies (this is just an idea). Also, the art style isn't as fluid as it was in *Zomburbia*; it looks quite pixelated. Furthermore, the color palette is very bright. And while *Zomburbia* featured 2.5D graphics, the current mix of 2D and 2.5D elements is confusing—I think 2.5D looks the best. There is very little in-game content, which was also the biggest issue with *Zomburbia*. The leaks that surfaced :( were unfortunately not very impressive, though we did see that a lot of content is coming to the game. After three months of repetitive "Plant Passes," adding just one zombie and one plant feels very underwhelming. Still, the effort to make the game the best it can be is extremely promising. I hope the shortcomings are addressed and the game turns out great.

I actually agree with a lot of your points. The merge mechanic has a lot of potential, but right now it feels like the game still needs more variety to keep players engaged long-term. Your conveyor-belt idea is interesting because it would force players to adapt instead of relying on the same strategies every match. I also miss some of the smoother visuals from Welcome to Zomburbia.

While waiting to see how PvZ3 evolves, I've been spending more time with the latest PvZ Fusion mod aviliabale on  pvzfusionandroid.com, mainly because it offers plenty of different mechanics to experiment with. Hopefully the developers keep expanding PvZ3, because the foundation is definitely there.
