this is such a great idea, its like replanted, but GW1 or even GW2 is such a fun and still loved and played alot despite the lack of updates since 2019 that even if they do everything wrong the game will still get love and be fun, instead of doing a complete new game that could easily miss (even if i think that they just have to NOT remove variants and the bfn would of been fine) i would just imagine the variants in that art style could be really cool and adding new variants would be so hype in general.
my guess is that ea thinks demand Garden Warfare is driven by nostalgia and would not be successful if they actually revamped the old games or did a new one, which is not true.
Community ManagerI know people had thoughts about Replanted which I can understand, but to me it was a good news to see a remaster for a Plants vs Zombies game. I'd love to see a Garden Warfare 2 remaster, just keep all the things that players liked, and add new stuff like features or designs to keep it fresh for the ones who have played the original.
As bfn808 said, remasters are trending, so let's hope 🙏 Fun fact, the Resident Evil 2 remake has now outsold any other Resident Evil games, so people love their remasters!
