All-Star V.S Citron

As a player of PVZ BFN, I feel that zombies are just better than plants, with the zombies and plants that are similar to each other in their primary and some/all of their abilities such as Citron Vs All-star.

 

 

Citron Vs All-Star

 

Citron is more defensive than all star with a lower DPS. Citron's role is to  push the objective and be a helpful addition to the team. The role of the all star is the same as the citron, but the all star plays it a bit more offensively because of his higher DPS and high health, All star wins in round one with the higher DPS, but there are more rounds to go.

 

Abilities

 

Sprint Tackle Vs Spin Dash

 

Sprint Tackle and sprint dash both do the same damage, 75 (I think, it might be 80), The Spin Dash causes citron to go into his ball form and charge his attack for 2 seconds, then he will move forward at immense speed, causing the enemy he hits to be launched backwards and take 75 damage. The all stars sprint tackle is basically the same, but he doesn't have to charge his attack, the all star instantly charges forwards, dealing 75 damage, and knocking back the opponent. The spin dash causes you to charge your attack for 2 seconds, and in that two second, you are completely vulnerable, you can be shot at, when you're charging. The spin dash is also much easier to avoid than the sprint tackle as you have 2 seconds to get out of the way, with the sprint tackle, it's harder to avoid it because the all star instantly charges at you, giving you no time to get out of the way.

 

 

Citron Shield V.S All star shield

 

Citron's shield has 600 HP, while all stars bubble shield has 200 hp, Citron's shield is his passive ability, letting Citron pull out his  shield at any time without a timer. Citrons shield can be used to defend a peashooter in Gatling pea, or a sunflower in sunbeam. The dummy Shield is not powerful enough to shield his teammates for long, and on average, the dummy shield is destroyed 5 seconds after it is put down. Though the dummy shield can shield multiple allies at the same time, it just doesn't have enough HP. Citron's shield is also very useful when escaping, you can put out your shield and move backwards. This round goes to Citron as his shield has way more uses than the all stars dummy shield.

Conclusion

All Star has won the battle with him getting 2 out of 3 points and citron only getting 1 out of 3 points. I have probably made mistakes in spelling and many other things, if you find a mistake please feel free to reply and tell me what the mistake was and where it is. I will be doing Sunflower V.S Scientist next, as @TheSprinter85 requested. Thank you for all the support on this series!

Please note that I will be comparing the Citrons E.M Peach to the Engineers Bullhorn Swarm, and the All stars imp punt to the peashooters chili bean bomb

    @GodlyGamerBEAST  I believe Citron's shield health got nerfed to 450 health a few patches ago, and All-Star's shield is health is currently 300, if I'm not mistaken. 

    Cool stuff, I'm looking forward to the Sunflower vs Scientist guide as well! Thanks for your awesome comparisons so far. 🙂 They're actually super fun to look at!

    @GodlyGamerBEAST Citron's Spin Dash can hit multiple zombies in a line, unlike All-Star's Sprint Tackle. All-Star's Sprint Tackle can hit multiple plants, they just need to be tightly together. I wouldn't say 200 hp is small, it can protect your team quite well but it's just that the shield is bigger and as a result it's easier to hit from more angles than Peel Shield.

    @GodlyGamerBEAST I know you are discussing it later but All star definitely out weighs Citron thanks to AS having imp punt to deal damage and Citroën having EM Peach

    @TheSprinter85Look at the PvZ: BfN Wiki. You can see that Citron's Peel Shield has 600 hp. All-Star's bubble has 200 hp and to prove this, you can land six direct hits onto All-Star with Peashooter then land six direct hits onto the bubble. You now know that his bubble has 200 hp. Peashooter's direct hits deal 34, adding up to 204 in six hits.

    @GodlyGamerBEASTHow come you didn't compare their throwable abilities? All-Star's Imp Punt has Crowd Control to it because the plants need to get out of the way and the ability is purely offensive because of it's 100 damage burst. Citron's EMPeach is purely defensive because it can stun multiple zombies, making them unable to deal damage to you and your team and are unable to use abilities for a short time. EMPeach also has some offensive capabilities because it stuns the zombies and makes them easier to land shots on.

    @Joseph2004045  The wiki isn't entirely up to date and I really thought there was a patch that affected shield health for All-Star and Citron. But I did some digging around and I couldn't find anything with shield health changes, so you must be correct. 🙂

    Am I the only one who feels like Citron is better? Spin Dash is better than Sprint Tackle, it can hit multiply zombies and a larger area of effect. And the charge is only 1 second. EM peach can instantly stun enemies, not like Bullhorn Swarm. Navel Laser is bad but it deals a lot of damage. The shield is the best.
