It would be really awesome to play some split screen on the multilayer mode, wither to bring a guest on with you, or having a friend who is already a gold member log in and split screen with me. Since you can split screen the single player tower defense mode, I believe you should be able to split screen with all of the modes.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was that this game doesn't have split screen online multiplayer. I want to play team vanquish mode splitscreen..........
Bumping the topic won't bring a splitscreen update! the 360's hardware can not handle split screen, as both players would have to stay close together for it to work! just like most splitscreen games, Eg Gears of war 1-3, that is because if a player strays to far from the other then they will be teleported back together! PvZ GW you need to able to go as far as you want.
No matter how you say it, EA lied to us all. Every single advert and trailer i saw about this greatly anticipated game was about it being multiplayer.....I only bought this game to play with friends like a clan. Yes it's multiplayer but you can't invite friends to a game. Te co-op Garden Ops mode is boring and repetitive and a total waste of time, other than the achievement side of it.
EA have shot themselves in the foot with not allowing parties or groups of people to play and enjoy together. I am level 49 and need just 2 more achievements and after i have them i am selling this rubbish game.
