BFN - Why discontinue it when it could’ve been amazing?

Hello, i’m a massive fan of the PvZ franchise, particularly the shooter spin-offs, and i have been part of the PvZ community since 2012. Its silly, my 5th birthday cake featured the snow pea, my favorite plant. PvZ shaped my childhood to be wonderful. I would always beg my parents to buy me PvZ merchandise, thankfully, they bought me yeti and squash figurines along with a MASSIVE sunflower plush. You can just imagine how happy I was. 2016 was the best year of my life. got my first playstation 4 along with my favorite game: Garden Warfare 2.

I could not believe the amount of effort and love put into the shooter games as typically, when you think of Plants vs Zombies, you think of the charming tower defense game that brought many together. The team behind the Garden Warfare series were so passionate and creative! I remember how huge the Trials of Gnomus  update was and how packed full of content it was! The backyard, community challenges, and the town halls were also great additions that just enhanced the previous experience of Garden Warfare. could you imagine how excited we were to hear about a new shooter game release?

Battle for Neighbourville was actually my 2nd favorite game. Although many despised it and saw no vision for it, I believed that if it kept getting updated it would’ve actually been even better than Garden Warfare 2! the potential this game had was absolutely unlimited! Legendary upgrades were a very interesting concept that brought back what seemed like character variants which is what made The Garden Warfare games so beloved! not to mention, the new classes of Snapdragon, Acorn, Night Cap, 80s Action Hero, Electric Slide, and Space Cadet were all welcomed and loved additions to the game! Lets not forget how creative it was to include the swarm classes into the game! 

The endless possibilities this game had was beyond belief, like, imagine a legendary upgrade for Snapdragon that turned his abilities into snow? thats the Cold Snapdragon from PvZ2 and is also a beloved character! Now, I understand that progress was halted due to the pandemic in 2020, but if we just gave this game a little more time, maybe just an extra year, it would’ve been outstanding.
