You are making the cactus useless! You keep on nerffing her and nerffing her. And yet you have not touched captain deadbeard (mainly captain sharkbite) Leave the cactus alone and nerf what really needs nerfed, the captains. The cactus is the sniper class and yet she gets out sniped. Super brainz is a better sniper cause of his beam and that's a problem. A melee class that functions like a sniper class, that needs to be addressed.
The only cactus characters that have been nerfed were zen cactus (which was needed) and jade cactus (which was not needed but she's not nerfed badly)
None of the captains needed a nerf aside from captain sharkbite and he's being nerfed
They are reducing the damage by 2 points. It's not that much and has been done in order to prevent her from becoming a striaght upgrade from the default. I don't think it will kill her, and the Fire, Camo, default and Future Cacti are still as stromg as ever, so their is no need to worry about the entire class. And appart from Sharkbite, the entire Deadbeard class is nearly useless.
Not to mention that Cactus is getting an indirect buff in Turf Takeover, especially in the Herbal Assault maps - since the zombies can no longer be all up in her grill. She now has breathing room to snipe from on offense - which is HUGE. (And means trouble for zombie players.)

Just curious, but why do you think that? In my experience it's a pretty strong character except for the Captain Cannon version. Captain Cannon, at least for me, is very hard to use because his main shot is so limiting.
The whole class is (appart from Sharkbite) pretty useless, because they are less effective Cacti. In my opinion, the Camo Ranger, Super Commando, Painter, Astronaut and even Golf-Star are better snipers. Every Deadbeard is a straight downgrade from their specific Cactus rival, as PopCap needs to justifie the shotgun with a weaker ranged weapon and increadibly low magazine size. They are just plain ineffective, as they only fit in the role of a sniper, but they aren't equipped for the job. Appart from the parrot, their is no advantage they have over any other sniper Zombie.

I am pretty sure this guy is trolling. the maps favor pirate over cacti 9/10 times. I mean the parrot is better, barrel is better than tall nut and I think that cannon and potato mine are both equally worthless. Maybe potato mine is better in most situations though (depending on attacking or defending.
I'm not trolling. I think that the Cactus is better, as her primary is stromger than the ranged attack of Deadbeard and she can reach some spots Deadbeard can't reach thanks to the Tallnut. The Parrot is debateble, as he's much easier to use and is far more forgiving due to his higher HP and he beats the Artichoke Drone in every aspect, but a skilled operator can archieve more with the higher damage and more devastating airstrike of the Garlic Drone.

Well, from my experience, it depends on the variants and the skills of each players. The cactus as the first character I leveled up to master rank, and I believe that if you slap a damage upgrade on it, it can be devastating. Of course, what I think is kind of giving the pirates an edge is that they are designed as offensive characters, so they can give a feeling of domination just because of their style of fighting. I was having the same problem with the camo ranger and the super commando in GW1. It's just easy to get scared, and then you panic, and then you're dead.

Pirate can reach more places with barrel than cactus can with tallnut. Parrot is way better than garlic and artichoke, garlic is very difficult to aim and use plus it is easier to shoot down with its larger hit box and less HP. The Parrot's eggsplosion is also much better than corn strike. Also when you get up on a cactus it's dead most of the time (except maybe bandit cactus).
I agree that cactus have more base damage on long range weapon but the offset is the pirate has a decent shotgun and a barrel to escape. Cacti have none of this.
However one major advantage that cacti have is their mines are great for D on turf takeover and let the cacti sit way back.
