@numbuhone71 Hey, are you on PC? If so, can I check what firewall/security software you use? Can you try adding both Origin and BfN to your whitelists?
You may also want to try power cycling your router, in case something strange is happening there.
Thanks!
I've tried resetting my router and the computer swell as reinstalling the game and it still does not connect fully. I have also made sure that the Origin app and the game are allowed through my firewall. The problem is after getting into the game it starts connecting, then it says found best match, goes to a loading screen, and then kicks you out and says it can't connect to EA servers. is there any other way to fix this?
- 6 years ago@TheDeadCourt this is exactly what i am experienceing as well. if i contstantly try to use the multiplayer portal then maybe after around 20 attempts it will conect me to a game. but i cannot play with friends as they inevitably get in, whilst i get sent back to giddy hills.
can you check, on your globe, where you set your giddy hills to allow friends or not, are you not able to select open lobby (the left option) i cannot do that and it always defaults to the middle option which is private with no AI - which means even my backyard is dead! i feel like that is somehow connected to the problem for me.- 6 years ago
I can't even get that far. The game will load while it is still in its downloading state but as soon as it completes it's download i cant get past the title screen. it always says connecting to EA servers, then it goes to the matchmaking screen, then it starts loading into Giddy park, and then bam right back to the menu screen saying " lost connection to EA servers check your WiFi and origin and try try again. I then proceed to do this, both are working I get back into the game and I'm back to square one.
