Can't Play Battle for Neighborville

I got the game Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville for my PC.

Windows 10 64-Bit

Processor: Intel Core i5-5300U

Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 5500

Memory: 8GB

I can't tell if I meet the PC Requirements, but I assume that I did because the game can launch, although the lag is beyond crippling.

And that's not even the worst part. Every time I try to enter the game, even though the game tells me that it found the best match, it always cuts to a loading screen for at least three minutes before returning to the main menu and telling me that it is unable to connect to the EA servers.

I have tried everything to resolve this, from running BFN as administrator, updating my drivers (which are already as up to date as they can be), and even attempted a Clean Boot. But alas, the game remains unplayable.

The only thing I can do is request a refund, as I cannot play the game at all, no matter what I do.

I really want to play this game and do not wish to give up on it, but there does not seem to be any other solution for me. Isn't there anything I can do at all?
