From my experience of saving up millions of coins and opening packs... apparently for me, I have to at least spend 3 million coins before I get a legendary piece. It doesn't seem to matter which pack I open, so I usually just open up the 15k packs. I have yet to unlock any legendary character, though.
Hate to be that guy, but i think i got a piece of Iron citron on like my third opening of a 35k pack
- Somehow I have the Koala Hat for Rose. Definitely is the RNG when having all the customization stickers doesn't increase the odds to obtain a Legendary.
I've gotten one piece of the Iron Citron and the Legendary hat for the Engineer from the 15k packs. Maybe your chances are higher in the 35k packs but I don't know. You get more stickers in them, but you can buy twice as many 15k packs sooo...more chances or more stickers, choice is yours.
