I feel like the patch is going a little bit in the wrong direction with the sunflower and the citron. I feel like instead of making them deal more damage, or damage in different places, the should be better at thier role. If the sunflower is supposed to be a healer, and that was the original intent, then maybe we should see the sunflower healing more first, before giving them more damage. It seems like the scientist could potentially outheal the sunflower with a heal bomb and the scientist was originally a close range damage class. The sunflower should be outhealling the scientist by quite a bit, considering what the original intent of the class was. Same idea with the citron, I feel like he needs to be able to fit his role better. If he supposed to be a front line, then why not make him one with a larger and better shield, that could extend past himself and defend allies for either a certain amount of time, or for more damage.
Also, I feel as though the imp should go back to 50 health so that someone can kill the imp before being killed by an imp kata.
I disagree about the patch. The damage boost was required. With full health recovery in this game, the healing classes are even less relevant. Not only that, but at least the scientist holds his own in terms of damage dealing. The Sunflower just doesn't have enough combat potential to warrent using her because she can't defend herself with the exception of the Vampire flower. They need this. Citron and Corn too. The plants are just so much weaker in every respect.
Assault 1 - Foot Soldier >/= Kernal Corn
Assault 2 - Imp </= Peashooter
Healer - Scientist > Sunflower
Melee - Super Brainz > Chomper
Sniper - Captain Deadbeard > Cactus
Support - Engineer >/= Rose
Suppression - All-Star = Citron
In almost every case the zombie side equivilant character is equal or superior to the plants. The Plants need to be stronger.
