Is it possible for developer to include the rules so we have deck under 40 cards? if not, why? because i've seen some ccg do have deck min and max limit amount of cards, not just max limit. Thank you EDIT: ok, what i asking for is deck size range instead of fixed, i.e 30 to 50 cards. the purpose is to bring more variety in gameplay, because i\ve seen some strategy to stall opponent until top decking. i mean, you can go for 30 cards deck to do or die mission, or 50 cards deck to last one stand mission. this game is so much fun 🥳

It boils down to probability. If you only run with 30 cards, you have a better chance of getting the cards you need earlier... When you looks at the disparity between ranks and cards people have already, this could give stacked players a huge advantage.Basically, it's about keeping the game fair (well, as fair as possible) and fun

@zdarcon Most games don't make it much passed turn ten. So, yeah, that's exactly what we're saying. If it was a common occurrence for games to cross the twenty threshold, maybe... IMO, not fixing decks to exact 40 cards can bring more variant in gameplay.

Absolutely. Part of the strategy behind deck building for a 40-card deck includes anticipating/mitigating bad randomness. If you know that a specific set of cards practically guarantee you a win if you get/play them, then not having to burn through a number of other cards increases the likelihood of your win.

This is an interesting idea @zdarcon

I can see where the others are coming from in this thread - if it's easier/quicker to get the cards you want it may be easier to win the game, although I would imagine that just changes the way those with 40 cards in their deck build their decks i.e they may want to try and last longer so the opponent runs out of cards.

Could make for an interesting dynamic but I don't think there's any plans to change this at the moment.

As many already replied, the main risk is combo decks.
By reducing the amount of cards in a deck, you highly increase the probability of having the cards you need in your starting hand.
This will only increase the gap between top Tier decks and the rest of them.
We already see most zombies playing sneaky (Impfinity and Super Brainz) in high leagues (taco & ultimate), this would only make it worse.
Also, it is nearly impossible to draw more than 28 cards in a game, professor Brainstorm being the more likely to draw that much.
Even with only 30 cards decks, there would not be any viable strategy to make your opponent draw his entire deck and lose that way (if it's even a condition).

However, I don't see any problem in increasing the size limit.
You are only making your deck slower/weaker, but you may want to try new synergies between cards.

Just my 2 cents.

surprised no one has said this already - but the number one reason this will never be allowed is BALANCE.

(unless you can opt into a sandbox mode where both players have the same number of cards, this would just unbalance the game.)
