default skins
just like fortnite seeing more and more elite players abusing default skin to look like a new player and or avoid getting targeted...very scummy tactic. Played against 6 of 8 default corns and impos...
@Iron_Guard8 We co-mingled with the PC crowd in UT3 (some 10 years ago) and the console crowd was 10x more toxic then; I can only imagine this has perpetuated further? 🤷🏼♂️
@spIash_damage that could well be. The PC shooter community isn't some bastion of fair play and sunshine, but it seems a bit better, at least from what I've seen. Also, if the console community is larger, that means that even if the % of nastiness is the same, you'll see more of it on console as you have a larger population, so you'll see more people being nasty unfortunately.
I just want to play, do well, and have the most enjoyable (i.e. closest) games possible, and to wear silly hats while doing it. I have R6 Siege when I'm in a more serious shooter mood!
I welcome targeting, if you want to target me have at it but when elite players going 20 kill streak because they can run and mix with a sea of defaults it's scummy. like using default corn with legendary upgrade.
ba is 4 on 4, team vanquish is 8 on 8...try figuring out who you were shooting at with 6 defaults.
My feeling is if you use default you should have a big number 1 through 8 stamped on your face.
And to clarify there are two different targeting contexts here...the hey it's splash damage let's all gang up...and hey I shot that corn for 90% health now which one was he. I'm referring to the latter although I would never change my skin to avoid targeting either...come get some.

Thanks for clarifying as I thought you meant the former. Anyways the latter seems kind of scummy if its intentional, but when I think about it more, I don't think it matters to me. If I can't kill someone fast enough before he uses a tactic to run away and blend in with other acorns, then so be it. I remember this happened to me once or twice (I'm rank 1100) and I kind of just laughed and thought to myself "you f*cker" then went about my day. So for me, it's not scummy.
