@Shadowphinx101The swarm characters were intended for weekly modes, but they're also new characters because we haven't had those for a while. Didn't GermanShu make videos where he made browncoat playable and it got really good views? As in, people who don't know that the game exists kind of views? The devs probably saw that. Even if they didn't it's still a good idea.
I don't know why exactly we can't have Berry or Iceberg in September, maybe Covid impacted its development, the same goes for Peashooter/Acorn-Oak Legendary Upgrades.
And while it is a good idea, I still think making full-fledged charcters instead would be a better idea (delaying it to October or November) because they do better with Rux and microtransactions. Another thing to keep in mind, is that we don't really know how long it would take for a new Plant. Maybe January? If so, their decision absolutely makes sense. I'm hopeful though, I believe we're getting Iceberg Lettuce in December.
I wanted 2 plants and 2 zombies, one very 6 months. And inbetween every 6 months (3 months) we get a new Horde class. Super Bean, Robo-Zombie, etc. And tone down the pizazz of the legendary upgrades, the leaked foot soldier one looks good, Branium Basher and Steam Blaster don't (this is only to make developing new characters easier and "lighten the load").
