Hello Everyone!

So, thanks to @Screion's link to the Steam stats page.

The PvZ discount promotion that players had the opportunity to take advantage of brought in a lot of new players, and it’s been great to see the online player counts for both GW2 and BFN looking strong. Even now, the community remains large.

I’ve also noticed that many newer players are jumping in and seeking help, which shows there’s still a lot of interest and activity in the PvZ community.

I know many of us are still hoping to hear more about what’s next for PvZ, outside of PvZ 3. At the moment, there’s no news to share about a new PvZ game. I also understand the frustration and disappointment around not knowing more about what happened behind the scenes with BFN’s shorter development period or previously leaked projects that never moved forward.

Speaking honestly, I think that feeling of regret is something a lot of PvZ fans can relate to. The series still means a lot to the community, and it’s clear there’s still passion for these games. I appreciate everyone who continues to support PvZ, help new players, and keep the conversation constructive.

@DecreeNo9 Its a shame that gw2 pc has exploded in popularity on steam but nothing will likely come of it.

Bfn was a rushed hack job from the cancellation of project hot tub and I guess popcap Vancouver just didn't have or wasnt making enough money to continue on.

Pvz has gotta be one of the most wasted series right now. Steam proved good sales and marketing go a long way with gw2 and all the new players learning stuff is cool but it's unlikely the series will pick up traction again.

I'm of the opinion they should license out the shooter branch to a smaller team or something and just see what they make to test the waters because there is clearly a way that pvz can and has been successful.
