Jumping in before people blame Nintendo for limiting the number of dev kits to send out before the console's release; the Madden team (EA Orlando) got one, so it's not out of the realm of possibility for a patch not to come out soon.
Hell, even though PopCap isn't the main developer for the Replanted game, that alone shows a PVZ team has access to a Switch 2 dev kit. It obviously could take time (and possibly money EA won't get in return,) but the radio silence is telling.
