My thoughts post patch. I think Rose feels right now. And maybe because she's been toned down, but I'm not seeing match after match with 7-8 people playing as Roses any more. I played as her for a bit last night. And definitely had to switch styles from a long range attacker to getting fairly close now, But I didn't feel like that was hampering my ability to help take down zombies.
One thing I'm also glad to noticed is that the winter map no longer felt impossible for zombies to win. My team won several matches on that map and it wasn't that the plants sucked, so I'm not sure what's different, It's not the layout of the map, so I guess it's the balancing.
I thought the water map it pretty cool. Neat reskin of the garden center!
Now I do still think Brainz spin attack needs to be addressed. Again, you are pretty much helpless against it. Even when I saw a brainz coming at me as a pea, I could not get away, at normal speed, Brainz moves fast enough to catch up to you, and then pull you into his whirl wind, once that happens you can't react at all, you just die, there needs to be at least some chance for escape.
And I still would like to have the bean bombs react in this game the same way they do in GW1. You didn't change the foot soldiers rockets, or the potato mines, why gimp the poor peas bombs????

Not true. There are a few classes that can counter the spin attack. Not all classes can, but that's also the point. It requires teamwork to overcome. Some classes counter others. The Rose goat transform can stop the spin, Citrus empeach, and various other stun abilities. BUT, the spin does suck. Maybe they should lower the speed at which you travel when doing the spin attack.
