Host ending server causing promotion reversal.

Summarize your bug Lost connection to the host server cause my level to reset but i kept the upgrades?
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? i haven't the foggiest. lose connection to a server after promoting?
Which character were you playing when the bug occurred? Engineer
What upgrades had you equipped with this character? Hydraulics, and Breakthrough. Though its not the upgrades fault.
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
I promoted my engineer and scientist, equipped some of the new upgrades, and shortly after, the host ended the server. (it was a public EA server.)
When i ended up in my own lobby, i went to the portal, entered a match, and realized that my engineer and scientist had gone back to level 10, as i had never promoted them in the first place. strangely enough i kept the upgrades i unlocked, since i was able to un-equip and re-equip them without any issue.
@Mysterymaster_OP Thanks for the report and information. Previously characters would end up in a broken leveled state and could not progress any further if data got corrupted like the situation you described - this cannot be reliably reproduced and I do not anticipate for a way this can be perfectly addressed. A fix was added to push progress back a bit to prevent characters from getting stuck, and it seems it is working successfully for you.
