    @Mysterymaster_OP Thanks for the report and information.  Previously characters would end up in a broken leveled state and could not progress any further if data got corrupted like the situation you described - this cannot be reliably reproduced and I do not anticipate for a way this can be perfectly addressed.  A fix was added to push progress back a bit to prevent characters from getting stuck, and it seems it is working successfully for you.

real quick update, I tried promoting them again, and it worked fine, up until the upgrades section came about. when the game attempted to present me with upgrades i already had, it showed me nothing. instead of showing upgrades i got, i got to stare at scientist standing there for the duration of what WOULD have been the upgrades section. other than that, it seems fine now...
