Multiplayer Error

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix the issues I'm having. Every time I start the game up it runs fine until I try and use any of the online services it pops up with a message
"multiplayer error you or a member of your group does not have the correct permissions to access online features"
I bought the deluxe edition and I'm really upset I can't play it at all.
I've tried deleting and reinstalling, hard resetting and nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    I had the exact problem and FINALLY found out the problem. In the plants ¨backyard¨ or ¨home¨ area, DO NOT go to the multiplayer portal. That is strictly for online playing. Instead go to the portal/hub called ¨SPLIT SCREEN¨. This is your only option for offline playing with only 2 players on 2 connected controllers.

    Same problem here. Xbox One version says,"you or a member of your group does not have the correct permissions to access online features." 

    Please help!

    Generally this message can be the result of a couple of reasons:

    a. The account does not have Xbox Live Gold.

    b. The account has restricted Online play in Privacy Settings

    But ea clearly said that this game had free multiplayer! 

    Someone could please answer?

    I am having this issue now and need a fix. I have gold membership, I have set every ones settings to unrestricted and set to enabled joining multiplayer. Is there a UK call number? This is ridiculous
