Origin play button shaded

Can you try completely closing out of Origin, and clearing Cache?

Hey @iluminatethesky when I hover my mouse over the game, the repair button is also shaded out and I can’t use it but I will try clearing the cache, thanks a lot!  Another question I’ve got is:  I’ve tried playing PvZ GW2 on my other account and when I click on the game my profile says I’m playing it but the game is invisible, this is the first time this happens do you know what’s up?

 What I mean by that is that the game is literally invisible, I can’t see anything except my pc’s background and the origin client and yet my profile page says I’m playing. And when I click on the shortcut on my pc or even the start menu shortcut it just brings me back to the client. But PvZ BFN is a bit different. For the first time I play after the game’s download is complete, it lets me in but stays dark forever. And after that, the button shades out and doesn’t work.

Hmm, that's odd.

Have you checked Task Manager as well, to make sure the game isn't running in the Background? If it's listed there, you should be able to force close it, then fully close out of Origin and try launching the game again.

Did clearing the Origin Cache help at all?

Actually @iluminatethesky, after a few hours everything goes back to normal(this is after clearing the cache), and then it happens all over again! Somehow, after clearing the cache once, the folders that i previously deleted all magically apear again! 

Hey @SansDrewNear,

When you clear the Cache, Origin does create new Folders all over again. That's normal.

But, you're saying the Play button is starting to be greyed out again?

No, after clearing, i can play for a bit. But does this mean i have to cler it everytime i wanna play? Because that takes quite long.
