Hey @jorry1234
Sorry to hear about this.
Do you mind posting a DxDiag, so we can take a look?

Thanks 🙂

@iluminatethesky DxDiag attached.
- I guess the RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64 error might be a clue.
Hey @jorry1234
Thanks for attaching the DxDiag.
Are you still experiencing this issue?
If so, can you please try these steps?
1. Disable the Origin in-game Overlay in the Origin Launcher and your Game Properties in your Library
2. Clear Origin Cache: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
3. Run Origin and Battle for Neighborville as Administrator
4. Clean Boot: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
5. Close Background Apps: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/programs-that-may-cause-conflicts-with-origin/
6. Do a fresh Uninstall/Reinstall of the latest Graphics Drivers: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Let us know if this works for you.
Thanks 🙂

- @iluminatethesky Yes, the issue is still there. This is just the standard list of troubleshooting? The game use to work great on this computer on this windows account. Graphics drivers are untouched since then. In my world there is something in the update that broke the game. Unfortunately the game is not worth another round of full reinstalls of everything. I was just looking if others had the same problem and a workaround for that in particular.
Hey @jorry1234
Sorry to hear those steps didn't work for you.
There should be another Update/Maintenance coming tomorrow from 11am - 1pm PST, so if you'd like to wait til then, and see if the game works for you, that's fine.

- @iluminatethesky The problem remains after all the latest updates. I've tried installing updates and to repair the installation, but that makes no difference. If I reinstall, my son will lose all his gameplay awards/upgrades and so he does not want that. So I'm stuck in hoping that there eventually will come an upgrade that fix the problem.
Title screen appears, video is perfect, but there is no audio, and no text saying 'press space to continue'. No response on pressing space, enter, or escape keys. Only Shift+F1 works to bring up the origin communication options. If you reinstall the game your progress won't reset.
There is no way to reset progress in the game.
You should try to run an EasyAntiCheat Repair.
To do that follow the steps.
1. Go to the folder where you installed the game.
2. Find EasyAntiCheat.
3. Open EasyAntiCheat_Setup
4. Choose "picnic" and run a repair.
Also make sure your drivers are up to date and try to launch Origin and game as Administrator.
Regards.
