[PC] Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville settings not updating

If I go to my settings and try to change almost any setting it works. But if i try to change "Share Usage Data" nothing happens. I've clicked, clicked and draged, nothing. I saw it said "CHANGES WILL BE REFLECTED THE NEXT TIME YOU START THE ORIGIN" in the setting description so I thought it meant the app named EA (previously named Origin acording to wikipedia. and yes I had to look that up) so I tried exiting the game launching the app and then relaunching the game and it still doesn't change. Is it suposed to be impossible to change? If so, why even make it a setting and give it a descrption that seems to imply it can be changed somehow? I don't know what it wants me to do. Does anyone else know how to disable this setting or have the same issue?
