When I try to start Plants vs zombies, I always get the same error message. It says I haven't activated the game, even though I was able to play it normally on Origin. I also have some ingame time. Any way to fix this?
i have had the same issue. played the game last night and now it is not working.
it says to put in key.
thats already been done.
it says no internet...not true.
is there any fix to this???????
I managed to fix it by factory resetting my PC. Thanks for the messages.

Each file is different based on the game, but this step actually works for most older titles that gen this error. I've seen this on Battlefield, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, PvZ, and a few other non-EA games as well.
I don't think this works for people who never got origin and got the game recently such as myself, is there a way to do it for people who got the game before the change?
Plants vs. Zombies: Game of the Year won't launch. It keeps giving me a Origin pop up to activate a key, but I already had the game via EA Play on the EA App and bought it today, and when I choose the activate key option in this pop up, it says my computer is offline. Is there a certain file that's preventing this or a bug within the launcher's coding? Would doing a factory reset of my PC be required? I'd like to hear from someone soon as I love the Plants vs. Zombies franchise and not being able to play the original game is such a shame.
Finally, an answer confirming they atleast know about the issue, thank you. Someone deleted my thread detailing a question about whats going on without bothering to answer and I still dont have a reply from support. Extremely frustrating.
