Has anyone else had an issue with game lobbies being empty all the time. Mixed mode, gnome bomb, vanquish confirmed, suberb. Either no one owns this game and plays it or their matching server does not work right. 9 times out of 10 I get into a empty lobby. I want to play some good PVP games like I was able to in PVZ1. Most of the time I can not play a good PVP game in mixed mode, which was my favorite. Any suggestions?

At what time do you usually play this game? Which server region are you using? I sometimes find that some lobbies usually are much less populated and sometimes empty at quiet times (usually 3AM when I play in lobbies such as Welcome Mat on the EU server). Sometimes it is best to play during peak times for the most likely chance to meet other users such as around noon.
Also, I heard the PC version is much less populated overall compared to the console counterparts which is likely the root of the problem.
Overall, playing during peak times when possible would likely increase the amount of players playing. If all else fails, it is best to stick to more popular playlists (Turf Takeover) as a final resort. Sorry!

From what I know, you can change your location when you open up the portal menu. There should be an instruction around the bottom of the screen. Attached is an image for the instruction though it is for the PS4 console version though I still think the PC will probably have sometime similar to it. However, changing regions will likely decrease the game's performance online due to factors such as lag.
