plants vs. zombies Can not play anything, but split screen

I have Purchased plates vs. zombies for my son to play on Xbox one.    When he starts the game it will only let him play the split screen mode.    When he clicks on the Garden Ops and Multiplayer all...

Do you get any errors when starting up the game?

If it speaks about correct permissions to access Xbox Live functionality, and you have Xbox Live Gold, you're probably on a child account that has a parental restriction that blocks online play.
