Plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 won’t load xbox series x

Hi @PrlnceDoge Try going through the following steps and check if this continues.

• Close other running games or apps, (for Series X|S also close others running in quick resume) 
• Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
• Persistent Storage 
• Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray 
• Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage 
• Alternate Mac: 
• Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings 
• Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear 
• Select restart 
• Remove then Readd Gamer Tag to console 

I've tried this and it still will only play the intro video.

hey, I know this thread is old but for any new players encountering this- it is perfectly normal. The game is not optimized for new gen consoles and takes up to 20mins to load (yes i timed it a few times), or a few restarts of your console or application

i play on pc now but ive played and owned this title on the ps3, ps4, xbox one, and xbox series s.  

Me too, still not working, please fix.

Sadly normal, however it is far less than acceptable or professional.

I just had this happen, found on reddit a random post with the answer, its most likely your EA account isn't linked with Xbox account, or something like that. I had to add a game called Skate, and it gives the EA prompt to link or create account. Once that step was completed, PvZGW2 could finally go past the terms agreement 

any chance you've figured out how to resolve this?  we are having the same issue.
