Can you try downloading and playing the FIFA 17 demo?
We are having the same issues as this person. Spent money on an EA game and can't play. All other games from other companies are working perfectly fine. Can't return the game because it has been opened. How do you plan on getting this issue resolved? Obviously everything in your script isn't working. Someone needs to fix your server issues.
My daughter's account (from which this is written) cannot connect. She has an EA account and PS4 account with the same email address. My son has played FIFA17 and he can connect. Given the hours wasted on Christmas Day getting that working and further hours wasted today trying to play PvZ, safe to say these are the last EA products for this household. This forum is so full of misleading, incorrect answers (e.g. downloading Origin client for PC has no relevance to this issue because you cannot sync accounts on it) - EA seems to take zero responsibility for its users being able to use the products they have bought - not even adequate instructions or guidance provided with the disc. Of course, that's all without even mentioning the multiple Gb download required to play the game in the first place. Sort yourselves out.
