Playing AI in Ranked Matches

I think the game should consider matching players against itself in Ranked (or even casual for that matter) matches. I personally find the AI does a very good job of playing. Well except for Prof Brainstorm as the last match in story mode.

It will shorten Q times, and we all know somewhere along the way with no planned updates to the game participation is going to drop. It will get harder to get matches in. Well assuming this doesn't all happen already and we are really in the Matrix *shock*

Not yet.
1) The “random battle” function already does a good job of pairing you quickly if you want a match; I use it often. But if I want to play a real player, I want to play a real player.
2) I’ve never yet had any particular problem finding matches.

I understand. I personally find it most often quicker to find a match if I am playing on the Zombie side while the Plant side is harder. The game is stagnant and one day it will become increasingly harder to find a match because the population has dwindled.
