Nope. I spent a lot of time working my way up to max just to get him and it'll be really annoying to just have him given away for those that didn't try to work for it. i can understand there are those who have never played the first game that probably want him but i say just let him be available through hero showcases only but not just given to everyone. at least not anytime soon
Perhaps AFTER the overly generous one year grace period they've given us. (But make it a hard challenge) People should still try to aim for max rank themselves.
Maybe host a community challenge in GW1 to give some skip challenge stars every now and then to speed things up for those that want it.
You are only good as your word. If they go back on their word then that alone will start a new type of * storm.
I don't think 313's will mind if others have to reach max rank in GW2. The other suggestion of maxing all Chompers or just the Unicorn Chomper when he's available in the Hero Showcase is far too easy and a kick in the face to so called loyal players.
If they buckle under the pressure to all the cry babies out there I expect something really special for compensation. I don't care about Infinity Time character or Legendary characters being the reward either and if it was just coins that would be insulting. It would have to be something truly unique.
Maybe a new ability for characters or like I said before givng me back my golden Cactoos skin.
The he jealousy is quite apparent for the Unicorn Chomper, playing with him online is like have a target on your back.
