Hi!I hope someone can help with a solution!I have a PlayStation 4, and when I try to load and play PvZ GW2 it keeps returning an error 'must be signed into PSN'. It has never loaded and played.I am signed into PSN. All other titles - including Battlefront, PvZ GW and general PSN-based games all work. SpeedTest shows 141Mbps download and 12Mbps upload, with low ping. Am able to get onto PSN and the store.I've tried logging out/in, signing out/in of PSN, rebooting the PS4, reinstalling and nothing.I have a very disappointed son who has been itching to play this - and at £50 with literally nothing to show for it, it's really bad form from EA to sell effectively broken products.--Any help would be grateful.Matt

I'll be looking at getting a refund, as we have a disc-based game that simply doesn't work with any kind of consistency. Even solo mode requires this to start, which is frankly bizarre. Maybe this is some kind of anti-piracy measure, but it ends of penalising honest, money-paying customers.No word as to an update or a fix. For shame, EA. What a way to treat customers (you know, the ones that actually pay for your products).Sigh.Matt

Thanks for your answer, however, something you and ea should bear in mind is the fact that me, as well as many other console gamers, play in consoles because we like the fact of saying "it just works", when you ask me or any other member of the community to begin troubleshooting, turning on and off anything and everything on our network, we are becoming like PC gamers and looking the point of paying for something more packed and supposedly to be ready...As for me, my network is fine, because if everything else word, but this game, the issue is within the game, not the environment.I hope you may show my discomfort and annoyance to someone that matters, and is able o make a stand officially on this regard.

Hi guys,I've been having the same problem for a couple weeks now. I've called EA support three times, with three different supplied solutions.First solution was to power down ps4, unplug it from the wall, then unplug the router for 30 seconds, then power everything back up. It works, but super annoying everytime you want to play GW2. Especially when all other games work fine.Second time I called, I was told to download Origin, relink my ps4 account with my EA account (because, obviously, we need three different accounts to play one game). This did not work.Tonight when I called again, they said that I needed to rebuild the database, and that would surely work. I was supplied with the proper steps to boot into safe mode and perform this task. It did not work.My son spent $80 of his birthday money to buy this game and it's been nothing but trouble. He loved garden warfare 1, but gw2 has just been a nightmare.We bought the online version, and I certainly feel that I've put in enough effort to make this work. Sadly, it's time for a refund, and I hope at least that works!!-NachopartyGuy

THIS WORKS FOR ME... Its a copy of other post!Alright you guys .. I believe I found a solution. This is to change the MTU setting on your PS4. Navigate to [Settings] > [Network].Here you will find four (4) options, Choose [Set Up Internet Connection].Now choose either [Use Wi-Fi] or [Use LAN Cable]If using Wi-Fi – Enter your existing access point password and continue below.If using LAN – Continue below.Choose [Custom] on the next screen.Select your normal settings for IP Address Settings. (Note: If you do not know this setting use [Automatic].Select your normal settings for DHCP Host Name. (Note: If you do not know this setting use [Do Not Specify].Select your normal settings for DNS Settings. (Note: If you do not know this setting use [Automatic].Select [Manual] for MTU Settings.Press enter to pull up the keypad and enter a new value and press X.First use the MTU value of 1473.If the connection test is unsuccessful, try the MTU value of 1450.Select [Next] to continue.Select your normal settings for Proxy Server. (Note: If you do not know this setting use [Do Not Use].Next – [Test Internet Connection]You will see a value under (PSN Sign-In – Successful) if this process was successful. As an update, I did get it working for an hour last night (hurrah), but today no go with the same 'must be signed into PSN to continue' message. As before, all other EA games that need a connection work fine (eg, Battlefront) and I can access PSN and PS Store. Other persistent games such as The Division work fine.
Any help is gratefully received - and seems like a few people are facing the same issue.

I am having the same issue. My name is Mattman1030. I can log in some days, but others I cannot at all. I can play PVZ GW1 just fine, but not GW2.

Hi guys,

I'm having the exact same problem as well. I spoke with a fellow on the phone from EA support and he told me to shut down the ps4, then unplug it. After that, unplug the router for 30 seconds, start the router, then start the ps4. It works for me but we have to do this every time my son wants to play GW2. All other games work fine, even PVZ 1.

Hope we can figure out a solution soon!

I am having the same problem as well. Signed in but game has never worked saying we have to be signed in to the PSN. Ugh. Hate this please help.

Just bought pvz 2 about a week ago and after downloading update and accepting terms of service i get the logging into EA on the upper left corner of the screen and then a notice that says you must be sighned into playstation network to continue. any work around ? is this something that maybe in a later update.so far i have.
Deleted and redownloaded updates several times
logged off and on on psn
restarted the ps4 from prompts ,button and plug from wall
checked my network pvz 1, and all other games work great
changed my mtu
redid my modem from the begining and hooked ps4 up to ethernet cable
checked to make sure the ps4 and EA are linked
Not really sure were to go from here have looked at all the forums i could find
