PvZ Garden Warfare 2 Won't Launch PC/Steam

when ever I launch the game it launches the splash screen creates a transparent window which then gets instantly destroyed, providing no error.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, uninstalling anything that alters the shell, verifying the game files,  clean booting my pc then trying to launch the game, ending the ea background service. I would be grateful if someone could please help me.
