PvZ GW Xbox one--question marks(?) appearing instead of gamertags

While playing PvZ GW with my wife tonight, we noticed that about half the team on each side has a question mark instead of a normal gamertag. When I click on "View Gamercard" it says smoething like "We're not sure whats happening, try again later."

We thought maybe it was just my account, so she signed hers in and it's the same. I realize this is NOT a huge deal and hardly a gamebreaker. But I do like to see who killed me or who's gettin' accolades at the end of the match. Whats up? Any suggestios anyone?
